Hello my name is Jerome Cabeen and I am the author and creator of this tribute page to KOBO TOWN! I want to thank you for visiting and I certainly hope you are a frequent "customer" on my page. My wife, Clarisa Chavarria, and I served as missionaries in her home country of Honduras, Central America and Liberia, West Africa for 6 years. We now reside in Beaumont, Texas. Living in the Caribbean region and then West Africa exposed us to so many types of different music, customs and cultures. I am sure that is why KOBO TOWN took hold in my heart and soul immediately. Added to the music and rhythms we heard, Drew Gonsalves' witty and poignant lyrics resonated deeply in both of our hearts. Themes such as faith, poverty, homelessness and hope in humankind were topics we didn't just read about while living in impoverished and developing countries around the world, they were themes we lived everyday. I am an author of a best selling book on AMAZON, "Memoirs of a Reluctant Servant" which chronicles our two years in Liberia. In addition to being an certified KOBO TOWN fanatic I am also equally devoted to all things Jimi Hendrix, RUSH and Bob Marley. Both Clarisa and I work for the Catholic Diocese of Beaumont (Texas). We live with two crazy cats, Hendrix and Ginger and when people ask us about children we always tell them we have about a THOUSAND of them around the globe! Please feel free to contact me at: [email protected] or on FACEBOOK and TWITTER. Thanks again for stopping by and may peace and joy be your companions today, and everyday. God Bless You! - Jerome Cabeen
